Banff

This August I spent a week in Banff backpacking, climbing and sightseeing with 7 friends. Banff National Park is a spectacular outdoor playground located 80 miles outside Calgary. The 4 day backpacking trip in Assiniboine Provincial Park took us through 4 seasons. The first night on the trail brought a collapsed tent due to snow, proving you are never safe from snow in Canada. A 7 pitch rock climb lead to fantastic views overlooking the city of Banff. And it wouldn’t be a trip to Banff without stopping by the instagram famous Lake Moraine.
